“Squash Al Hanout” – Try the following for a fantastic global flavor accent with a taste of North Africa. Prepare an acorn or butternut squash, mash or purée as you prefer. Add just 1/2 a teaspoon (or more if you like it spicier) of our Ras Al Hanout along with 1/2 a stick of butter and 1/4 -1/2 cup of brown sugar. Blend in well and re-bake in the oven for 15 minutes. If you care to, sauté some thin slices of apple in butter and a pinch of our Vietnamese Saigon Cinnamon and lay across the top before you re-bake… Sooo delicious!
