Ras Al Hanout


Flavor & Uses: This beautifully aromatic and sophisticated blend is used extensively in Moroccan cooking and literally translates to “Top of the Shop”. Excellent on grilled chicken, lamb, tuna, added to a tagine, couscous and rice.

Ingredients: *Nutmeg, *cinnamon, *spices, *ginger, *mace, *turmeric, *cardamom, *allspice, *anise, and *cloves. *Organic ingredients

"Squash Al Hanout" - Try the following for a fantastic global flavor accent with a taste of North Africa. Prepare an acorn or butternut squash, mash or purée as you prefer. Add just 1/2 a teaspoon (or more if you like it spicier) of our Ras Al Hanout along with 1/2 a stick of butter and 1/4 -1/2 cup of brown sugar. Blend in well and re-bake in the oven for 15 minutes. If you care to, sauté some thin slices of apple in butter and a pinch of our Vietnamese Saigon Cinnamon and lay across the top before you re-bake... Sooo delicious!
